AI Automations Services Ltd - Ethics Policy

AI Automations Services Ltd ("We") ”) apply a sensitive ethical policy to the development and delivery of products, service and data. This means we will adopt a higher standard that the law demands. For example, even though it is not illegal, we will not provide facial recognition services to government agencies as we believe these can infringe citizen's privacy. The Principles and Best Practices below together form the ethical structure of our work.

1.   AI Principles

The AI applications that we develop follow the ethical principles that Microsoft use itself, as we consider then the leading provider in the area of ethics. These principles reflect that machine learning, privacy and speech elements of AI need special attention. These principles are laid out below and guide the development of our software.

2.  Best Practices

The principles in section 1 in turn create 10 guidelines for developers of conversational AI digital assistants. In summary these guidelines make sure the purpose of the assistant is articulated, and it is transparent, with a seamless hand-off to a human, that respects relevant cultural norms, is reliable, treats people fairly, addresses user privacy and data security, is accessible and is the responsibility of humans.
